THE PROJECT FURTHER EDUCATION AT KAREL ENGLIS COLLEGE– FUNDED BY ECOP (EDUCATION FOR COMPETITIVENESS OPERATIONAL PROGRAMME)

In January 2013, a project funded by ECOP was started by Karel Englis College. The project is called Support of Security Education of IT Worker in the South Moravian Region.

Because there has been a lack of this kind of programmes, this project’s goal is the creation and pilot testing of a complex programme of further education in the field of ICT security for IT workers within the South Moravian Region

The basis for this project is formed by several researches and available statistics. It takes into account the world-wide trend of increasing importance of security within information technologies.

The aim of the project Further Education at Karel Englis College Project is to increase the competitiveness of IT workers in the South Moravian Region and thus increase the level of IT security in companies of the region.

The registration for the first courses starts in July 2013.

Name of the project: Innovation of Teaching at Karel Englis College, Inc. Across all the Fields of Study for the Purpose of Strengthening the Quality and Status of the College and Competitiveness of Students
Karel Englis College got successfully approved the project Innovation of Teaching at Karel Englis College, Inc. which applied for resources from the European Social Fund within the Education for Competitiveness Operational Programme. The aim of the project is a complex innovation of instruction at Karel Englis College. The amount of acquired resources is 11.9 million CZK.

 

PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN KAREL ENGLIS COLLEGE, INC. AND THE HIGHER PROFESSIONAL COLLEGE GOODWILL, LTD.

Karel Englis College became a partner of Higher Professional College GOODWILL within the project The Use of Blended Learning for Cooperation Between a Higher Professional College and a College with the Stress on the Education of Students from Higher Professional College and the Possibility of their Further Studies in Bachelor’s Programmes. This project is funded by ECOP.

This project started in August 2012. During its realisation, 28 sets of lectures for individual subjects of two study programmes at the Higher Professional College GOODWILL will be created. These lectures will serve to unify the knowledge level at the two institutions and deepen the knowledge of students of GOODWILL. The lectures will be applied into the Blended Learning environment (combination of e-learning and on-site instruction). GOODWILL students, who are interested in further studies in the Bachelor’s Programme, will use the system of Blended Learning. After graduation from the higher professional college, their successful subjects will be transferred into their Bachelor’s Programme at Karel Englis College.
