The goal of bachelor study program:
The goal of the study program at the Karel Englis College is to prepare students for their professions of managers who should be able to solve all managerial, administrative, financial and economical problems in businesses, small and middle-size companies successfully. The program also enables the students to work in public administration and services. The advantage of graduates is their readiness to work in different kinds of business, because their study is not focused on a narrow specialized sphere, but it is based on a multidisciplinary formulated study program.
The basic information
In addition to major subjects (economics, company economy, management), the students can study law, informatics, and other subjects related to the study program – see Study plan.pdf. The study program also comprises a language course focused on professional communication. The study is completed by the final state examination which consists of two parts:
– bachelor thesis defense
– oral examination of economics, management and law.
The graduates are awarded the academic degree „Bachelor” with the Certificate of Final State Exam, the Bachelor Diploma, and the Diploma Supplement recognizing the study program in EU.
Students graduating from Karel Englis College can continue their study in master degree programs at both public and private colleges and universities.
Graduates can work in three kinds of professional branches and institutions of all forms of entrepreneurial activity:
- with managerial and economic predominance,
- with managerial and juridical predominance,
- with managerial and information predominance;
Graduates can also use their knowledge and skills in the public sphere.
