On December 3 rd, 2010, Karel Englis College hosted and organized the conference called “Economy and Law” – synergy or antagonism? This year conference celebrated the fifth-year anniversary and hosted participants from Poland, Slovak and Czech Republic. The participants delivered very interesting speeches on different topics relating to economic and legal problems, among them the most interesting was the speech made by Mr Miloš Zeman, the former Prime Minister of the Czech Republic. All the deliverd speeches and lectures were very informative and stimulated new suggestions and ideas. The following discussion brought a share of ideas and experience. The school management would like to appreciate the arrival of all participants, in spite of unfavorable weather conditions, and would like to thank to all who contributed to make the conference a successful event in the life of our school.
