CIVIL LAW

The aim of education is to broaden and deepen the theoretical knowledge in the area of civil law and to create conditions for good theoretical and partly practical readiness of students in their field of specialization.

COMMERCIAL LAW

The aim is to acquaint students with the basics of commercial law in a coherent entirety. Curriculum includes basic circuit problems of commercial law, definitions of basic concepts and categories, legislation status of entrepreneurs focusing on the characteristics of companies and cooperatives, public and private competition, and the issue of commercial obligations.

LABOUR LAW

The aim of education is to broaden and deepen the theoretical knowledge in the area of labour law, to clarify the relationship of legal problems of labor to the public sector within the Legal System of the Czech republic. Create conditions for good theoretical and partly practical readiness of students in their field of specialization.

FINANCIAL LAW

The course builds on previously taught financial issues. It is focused on a specific side of business - financial business problems. The students will study detailed arrangements for financial rights and obligations of economic entities in the financial and legal relations in both public and private areas. FUNDAMENTALS OF EUROPEAN UNION LAW

The aim is to provide the students with the knowledge of basic categorial administrative machinery and key institutions; to teach the students the basic principles of using international legal standards and understand the relation of EU standards and their application into a national legal system. Furthermore, the aim is to acquaint students with the process of European economic integration, European Union issues and the process of integration into European structures. Show the current problems in labour markets and industrial relations in the EU in the context of the latest economic, social and political changes.

LAW MAKING AND LEGISLATIVE PROCESS

The aim of the course is to acquaint the students with the laws of the Czech Judicial Code; to teach students the basic principles of working with legal standards with emphasis on understanding the hierarchy of norms according to their ranking and interpretation of rules and procedures when working with legislation; to clarify the nature and functioning of laws within a legally consistent state with a focus on knowledge of constitutional norms, an emphasis on human rights and fundamental freedoms..

LEGAL REGULATIONS OF SMALL BUSINESSES

The main aspects of the course are designed primarily how to run small businesses with emphasis on the rights and obligations associated with their setting up, alteration and termination.
