BASICS OF ACCOUNTING
The aim of the course is to provide students with basic knowledge and skills of accounting for businesses. The students get an overview of accounting methods in order to be able to handle basic accounting operations of the assets, liabilities and other accountancy operations of enterprises.
ENTREPRISE THEORY
The aim is to revise and introduce the basic categories of enterprise economy – enterprise, business, profit, etc., and to explain basic activities of enterprises using practical examples.
PUBLIC ECONOMY
The aim is to equip students with basic knowledge of the modern theory of public economy in the context of its historical development, to clarify the place and role of public economy, its nature and mechanism of its functioning as an economic system which is subjected to political influences.
MANAGERIAL ACCOUNTING
The aim is to provide students with basic knowledge and skills for managerial accounting in business and to learn how to evaluate and organize information from the accounts for decision-making process from the perspective of a manager.
FINANCE AND BANKING
The aim is to clarify issues of money and interest, monetary theory and policy, as well as learn about the fundamentals of the financial system, including the central and private banking.
FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING
The aim of the course is to provide students with basic knowledge and skills of financial accounting business, to gain a deeper overview of the accounting methods of accounting cases; be able to account a basic rate of financial operations within the financial accounting business. Learn to evaluate data from accounting for the needs of decision-making from the perspective of a manager.
TAXES
The aim of the course is to provide students with a basic overview of tax issues including social and health insurance for the practical activities of economic entities. Students will be acquainted with the issues of taxes, social security and health insurance in the EU.
EU ECONOMY
The aim is to equip students with basic knowledge about the EU economy in the context of its historical development, clarification of the place and role in the economies of the EU, to clarify its nature and mechanism of functioning as an economic system which is subjected to regulations and political influences.
MACROECONOMICS
The aim is to lead students to understand the behavior of the economy as a whole. This is intended to clarify the relationship between assets of the economy and the markets for goods, services and labor. It further explains the effect on consumption, investment, inflation and unemployment, fiscal and monetary policy. The course clarifies both the current economic theory and key problems of the economy.
MICROECONOMICS
The aim is to focus on current problems of scarcity of resources and their use in solving problems of practice. At the same time offering solutions to resource allocation. It deals with the theory of consumer behavior, theory of firm behavior, then costs and the possibility of their reduction, firm in imperfect competition conditions; Markets of production factors.
BUSINESS ECONOMY
The aim is to gain knowledge about entrepreneurship, business, business characteristics, business functions, types of business. The subject deals with asset and capital structure, tangible assets, inventories of materials, use of materials structure, stocks of work in progress, finished goods and merchandise, revenues and results of operations, analysis of a critical point, sales and marketing, pricing, production, purchasing and logistics, investment and finance.
