INFORMATICS
The aim of education is to provide an overview of trends in hardware, software of computers and to teach how to set computers basic functions. Further enhance students' practical skills in working with a PC focused on the understanding of hardware and software as the system of computer environment for modeling of economic problems. To teach them the basics of algorithms and programming tasks, and expressing the results of computer modeling in a graphical form.
BASICS OF INFORMATION SYSTEMS
The aim is to provide the students with basic terms of information systems, standardization, security, management and guidance in the design of information systems. It is practically focused on understanding the basic access and use of IS in a modern office.
INFORMATION SYSTEMS IN COMPANIES
The aim of the course is to provide THE students with basic knowledge in the use of information technology for business of small and medium companies and to teach students how to use information technology for setting up and running the business.
INFORMATION SYSTEMS IN STATE ADMINISTRATION
The aim of the course is to provide the students with a basic orientation in public and state administration, to explain the principles of state information policy, and to make use of information systems of public administration in solving problems in business.
CONTROL MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEMS
The aim of the course is to provide the students with basic knowledge of management information systems, technologies and their benefits to increase profits in the business of small and medium companies, and to teach the students how to practically use information technology to solve the fundamental problems in managing the companies.
CREATION OF WEB PAGES
The aim of the course is to provide the students with basics of web site creation, to teach them how to create simple web pages and use them in e-business and how to use the computing environment for modern business activities on the Internet.
ECONOMIC CORRESPONDENCE
To teach the students how to handle business correspondence in accordance with a standard ISO 016 910 and other related standards, to teach how to write a business letter on computer, or make a typewritten form of individual styling, or to fulfill a form.
MATHEMATICS
The aim is to acquaint the students with the basic problems of linear algebra, vector calculus, analytic geometry in plane and space, functions, limits, derivatives and integrals. Students also manage the computational procedures relating to those topics.
BASICS OF STATISTICS
The aim is to teach the students basic skills in acquiring and processing statistic data, table and presentation graphics. and a simple analysis of statistical data of economic nature. To explain the theoretical basis of selected statistical methods applicable in economic practice.
PRESENTATION TECHNIQUES
The aim of the course is to provide the students with the basics of information technology used in the companies presentation in the electronics business, in creating information leaflets, and in advertising on the Internet. To teach the students the basics of visual and verbal presentation techniques for the defense of their bachelor thesis.
