Krystalinikum is a journal that publishes in English significant original research articles of actual research in many fields of Earth Sciences - including mineralogy and petrology, economic geology and minerals and fuel exploration, structural geology, lithospheric tectonics, environmental and engineering geology, astrogeology, geophysics and geochemistry. All kind of papers are welcomed.
Krystalinikum (previously with main focus on to contributions to the geology and petrology of crystalline units) already welcome articles connected not only to geology, mineralogy and petrology of rocks in regions of metamorphic and magmatic activity but a strong tendency towards practical applications of petrology is newly developing.

History

Krystalinikum was founded in 1962 by Czech Academy of Science. It developes from a contributions to the local geology and petrology of crystalline units in Czech Republic and close regions to a significant journal with good international reputation in professional science.
